I was watching a programme called Surviving History on the History channel last night about a group of guys in Amercia who work at the Scarefactory who make medieval weapons of torture to see how they would have worked. It was so interesting i decided to look them up on the internet and whilst i didn't find them i did come accross this.... www.scarefactory.com/catalog/werewolf_animations.htmlThey're a bit freaky aren't they!

Papier-mâché is the original French spelling. Most Americans spell it "Paper Mache," at least as far as I remember from elementary school and whatnot. I presume it would be the same in the UK.

I guess they're made for theme parks or dungeon museums maybe? They're definately not your average halloween decoration! I watched the little you tube video that shows them working and was really impressed with the bone crunching nosies but slightly disapointed when the other one leapt up and they started barking like ordinary dogs.
