Hi everyone, I'm wondering if you can help me out. I'm looking for a specific werewolf movie I saw on TV when I was younger.
I would have been 5-6 at the time so I do not remember too much. What I do remember is fairly scratchy so I've compiled a list of sorts.
The Movie contained REAL dogs/wolves.
It striked me as a very 'dark fairytale' almost Grimm Brother's like.
There was a scene where the heroine finds a birds nest of small cherub replicas and a mirror.
It certainly wasn't modern (I can't place what era it took place in though)
I'm not sure, but what I understood of the plot, the main character's sister died at the start of the movie after going into the woods. But than it seemed like she was controlling the wolves. (It may be just been a case of a little child mixing up similar looking characters)
There is a scene where a woman's husband leaves the house and disappears into the woods. I remember characters trying to make it out that he had been eaten by wolves, but his wife seemed to be drawing the conclusion that he was a werewolf.
The end scene was where the wolves jump through a window and attack the girl controlling them.
So you can see that I don't remember too much, but it really was a great movie and both my mother and I really want to see it again. It would have been on TV here in Australia some time around 1995-2000. At some parts it almost resembled Red Riding Hood. If someone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.
