Dreg is an upcoming werewolf movie that's adapted from a book by the same name by Terry M West. Not heard of the book myself, anyone read it?

Anyways, it's like this:
'1940. Louisiana. Madness thrives in the Pointe au Chien and a dark legacy is embraced. A bayou boy is baptized in city blood and a pack as old as time rises from the swamps. A man beast escapes his shackles, and the hunt begins...A hunt that will last for decades. A hunt fueled by the moon. For when the moon is full, the beast rises...and the blood flows...'

It's described as 'a weird hybrid of fairy tale, good old-fashioned horror and suspense' and that sounds good to me...

You've got me. 1940, huh? That's, like, the middle of WWII, except I don't think the US was involved quite yet.

I've always thought the Bayou needed more werewolves. Always with the vampires and zombies and ghosts and voodoo, but only one werewolf flick so far. I blame Anne Rice.
