80s werewolf comedy

I'm trying to trace a werewolf comedy film. I saw the film in the early eighties. Set in England, London it was a comedy about a ganster who turns into a werewolf. It had jokes about the police chasing the werewolf to the Isle of Dogs and the werewolf knocking on a vets door and asking the vet to 'patch me up doc'.
Any ideas of what the title of the film is?
