I wanted to start this thread to see what movies people hate and why. Im tired of seeing negative review after negative review on good movies. Most everyone's problem is that they watch a movie with the wrong mindset or try to find things wrong in a film.

I'm not sure how your request for us to list movies we think are bad and why, relates with the title of the thread. Or are you looking for movies which we list which you think are good but we think are bad and discuss them?

Yea i just kind of threw this one up there in a hurry (my bad). My goal was to start a room to discuss movies people hate and why so others (like myself) who are more open minded can try to turn there opinions around. I dont know this may not work its easier to do this in a chat room.

Still a bit confused... are you saying that there are no movies that you hate?

O no theres movies i hate, but if i am going to take the time the time to watch a movie im going to find something to like about it. If it bad then laugh, if its good then enjoy it as a horror flick. I pretty much hate all the new mainstreem horror movies though, way to much cg.

I ceated an account just to give this guy a hand cause i understand what he is trying to do. You might want to change the title of the thread to something more along the lines of "forgotten or misunderstood movies." I guess ill throw in an example. I noticed that teen wolf too gets a bad rap. I mean its not as good as the first one, but its still good. Better than van helsing which got good reviews (and not just on this site).

At least someone gets it, I feel like too big of an idiot now. I the new title doesnt work i give up. Yea "teen wolf too" was good. Another one is "big bad wolf", that was a pretty great movie (comedy wise), especially after i watched the comentary and heard what the director had to say. However every seems to hate it, even on amazon (which is no suprise).

I liked Van Helsing. Was silly in parts, but was a nice throw away movie.
Teen Wolf 2, I wasn't keen on. Mainly because they tried to do the same basic story but with a less well written script, and without a new underpinning joke to rely on.

I have to say that i too hated Big Bad Wolf. It's a hard one to explain. I've never been disturbed by a werewolf movie before but this one got me. The rape scene in the cabin was extremely disturbing.

I thought the werewolf in big bad wolf felt more like a giant ape or missing link, or bigfoot, than a werewolf.

But the premise was good....
To be honest i didn't think the rap that an Amercian Werewolf In Paris got was justifed. To me it was that bad a film, the problem with it was it couldn't hold a torch to the original and perhaps shouldn't have been billed as a sequel. It should just have been a movie in it's own right. Well that's my opinion on it anyway.

Yea theres no question that its not nearly as good as the first one, but still i give some credit it wasn't that bad to me, and as for big bad wolf i can see why people would hate that one, but to me it was funny and cheesy. It touch new gounds on werewolf movies with the whole talking wolf thing, that rape scene was a little weird though.

I liked Amercian Werewolf In Paris, apart from the poor CGI. I thought it had some good laughs in it. But I agree it should not have been done as a sequal to AAWIL. Mainly because the film had a different feel to it. AAWIL was horror first comedy second, where as AAWIP was the reverse.

I hated DARK WOLF and BLOODZ VS WULVES. Both are low-budget, which doesn't bother me in the least. I can never watch either of these films again becuase the pacing and acting were terrible. They might have worked as 1 hour long videos, but really, I can find nothing good about either, except maybe that the basic concept that inspired BLOODZ VS WULVES wasn't too bad; it was just didn't have much to do with what actually happened on screen.
