Finally tracked down a copy of this semi-obscure made for tv werewolf movie. Apparently it started out as a mini-series and over an hour was cut out to make it into a movie, but it seemed coherent to me. Obviously as it's a low-budget british drama it's hardly a must-see, but I found it engaging and interesting enough. The wolf is a real wolf too, which is nice.

I remember watching this as the mini-series. Shame they hadn't left it as such as it was a very good mini-series and an interesting version of a werewolf.

Arg, I'd have really liked to see the mini-series but it's never been repeated or released in any form.

I've not seen the cut down film version. Does it still keep it a mystery as to whether or not the girl really is a werewolf or is just dellusional? I remember that being a main point in the mini-series until near the end where you find out one way or the other for definate.

It seemed to be going that way at first, it was deliberately ambiguous for about half an hour, but then it quickly becomes clear.

Interesting, so it seems they did most cuts from the first half of the story.
