I liked that too actually. But I felt bad because they killed the baby's mom. I really felt bad for the werewolves on there.

I think, the reason you never saw any female lycans is simply the vampires never made any. They probably decided to deliberately only make males to prevent any more odd births, and simply because they were building a slave/labour class so wanted males as they could work harder with the rocks and building.

There were probably female werewolves, but as they could not turn back, and pretty much look like a male werewolf when transformed, chances you'd not recognise one gender from the other without "looking". and I suspect the werewolf would be a little unco-oprative in that.

It was good to see some of the other vampires and lycans showing up in the prequal that were present in the other films.

Did the werewolves even have a tail? Most werewolves that are portrayed don't have a tail, and I didn't see one on the werewolves/lycans in Underworld.

well i think werewolves sometimes do in a book i had finished a few days ago called Full Wolf Moon the werewolf grew a tail during his transformation(biped kind of werewolf too)
so i guess it happens sometimes its just rare

They probably don't give them tails in movies because how hard it is to make the tail look right and behave right, and where it's a CGI werewolf they just don't want the added expense of animating a tail as well as the rest of him.

That'd be my guess.

Well, when your book is published and you become rich and they offer to make your story into a film, insist on the werewolves having tails

oh, and make sure we all have guest appearances in the film

This is my favorite of all the Underworld movies, and I'm hoping that they will come out with a fourth one that shows what is going to happen to Selene and Michael.

The wolves in this one were very well done as well, in my opinion; especially the ones who were descended from William. I agree, I would give this an 8/10

I have no idea if that's a positive or a negative. I would hope negative, considering that rape is a terrible thing.

I started watching this movie a couple of months ago, but I lost interest. I realized that I don't care about prequels. If it takes place before the first movie, I don't want to see it unless it's in a flashback. Plus, there's no Kate Beckinsale.

Well i'd like to learn more about how Lucien and Kraven made their deal, i would be interested in them pursuing that in a movie but i'm guessing they'll go back to the Selene and Michael story now.
