Unknown Werewolf Prop

I recently acquired this large prop Werewolf head mask but I don't know which film it is from. Anyone recognize it? It is well made but the foam is starting to decay somewhat so probably 80's or early 90's. It has a hinged jaw that is controlled by a chin cup. The actor looks out of the mouth through holes in the fibreglass head gear, which is firmly attached to the head. Pretty rad piece. If anyone recognizes the beast from what movie, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I don't think that's a werewolf, actually. The dangly lower lip makes it look more like a bear. Still pretty cool.

Doesn't the place you got it from have any ideas? I don't recognise it from any werewolf movie i've seen but if you do find out please let us know. The dangly lower lip does make it look like a bear so perhaps don't limit your search to werewolf movies. There were cultures that believed in werebears so perhaps it was from a movie or show about that?

Thats a good point Werewolf. It does have a bit of a bear look it it that way, especially as you say the lower lip. And the colour would match too.

Hmm... Werebear you say? I'll look in that direction too. Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes these things escape studios and change hands because they just look cool and the original purpose is lost. Sometimes the films are never released, which is also possible. Thanks again for the input!

With those eyes, I'm leaning more towards wolf than bear, but I can't imagine what movie it comes from. Great find, though!
