Hi there, I'm Mau and I'm also new to this forum. Although my name means cat and happen to be a huge cat fanatic, I also have a huge fascination with werewolves and really enjoy watching werewolf movies. I was looking for good werewolf resources and happened to come across the werewolf movies website. Then, I discovered the board and thought I'd pop in. My favorite part of a werewolf movie is actually seeing the wolf up close, especially right before it attacks, or when it's transforming. My favorite werewolves are the kind that actually look like an anthromorphic wolf...and not just like a monster. I would really like to see a werecat movie...but they seem to be in short supply. I plan to write my own werecat story...if I can ever get around to it. Haha. I've always been fascinated with the ability to shape shift, and with "furries" if you will. I also frequent a forum called Halloween.com...and a bit of a Halloween nut. Haha. But that's just me. So hello everyone! I'm the crazy cat who's lurking in the wolf's den.

Hi there. I guess you've seen the awesome Cat People (1942), the bizarre sequel Curse of the Cat People and the average remake Cat People (1982)?
Been a while since I've seen it, but I think Stephen King's Sleepwalkers may have been about were-cats...

Yup Stephen king's sleepwalkers involve a race of cat-like beings that can appear human. They've also got a bit of an illusionery ability too. Welcome to the forum. Always happy to have a cat around. Gives us something to chase

Hahaha. Funny. ;D I havn't seen cat people, but I have seen Sleepwalkers. Sleepwalkers could transmorph to resemble cats, and they drained the energy of virgins. But, the cats weren't on the same side as the Sleepwalkers. The story never went into detail as far as why, but cats could see their true form as they tried to decieve a young virgin. It was an interesting story, but I would've implemented it differently. I'm a little leery about watching a movie from the 40s, but I've heard about cat people from another forum as well, so I might just have to check and see if the local video store has it.

www.halloween.com/forums is the place you want to go. I'm DemonSlayerMau there. They're a fun bunch of people over there, and they're always happy to have new members. Right now it's "ghost town" season around there, but there are regulars who pop in at least a few times a week. It usually gets busier around October though, which is a bit obvious.

You're welcome. Hope you'll like it there. They're a decent bunch. Only thing is they don't allow swearing or sexual innuendos, but that's because little kids might go on the site too. Not of course that I really mind.

I like the introduction, I feel like I should have done something like that because I'm sort of knew. Ah well to hell with it. Check out the Halloween site by the way, its a pretty cool site. Not really for me though, I'm more of the horror movie forum type, but since I like Halloween so much I give it two thumbs up.
