Don't get me wrong, I'm a romanticist and I enjoy romance with vampires. I thought Underworld implemented that really well. But gee whiz, does the vampires even drink blood in Twilight? That's part of the vampire curse, immortality at a price....drinking human blood. The idea of werewolves coming from native american tribes....now that makes sense. The native americans believed in animal totem spirits and called upon them for assistance. It wouldn't be all that far fetched to think of a werewolf origin in native american folklore, although I think the true folklore originated in Europe.

I've never really been that into vampires. The only vampire stories i ever enjoyed were The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice.

Haven't read the books but did manage to see the first movie. It was ok just very average. This looks like more of the same but I thought the werewolf transformation and the wolf itself looked a bit rubbish.
I love werewolves where people turn in to real wolves but this just looked very cgi. Couldn't they have just used real wolves ala Blood & Chocolate? They could have cg enhance them a little to make them slightly larger. Still, it's a big budget werewolf featured flick. Which is good.
What with this and The Wolfman coming out at the end of the year, life is looking more than a little lycanthropic to me. Yay!

Just since the preview. I'm not impressed with the ww design. It looks too CGI. I think your right Darkwolfavenged, they should have used real wolves.

I was hoping for an anthromorphic wolf, but then again I havn't read the books so how am I supposed to know? I like CGI and I think it looks realistic. But, it looks more like a jackel or a coyote rather than a wolf to me. A red wolf perhaps?

Came across this about the history of the real life red wolf species:
The origins of the Red Wolf line are set at 1-2 Mya with a branching from a common ancestor shared with the Gray Wolf, the Eastern Wolf, and the Coyote. One branch remained in North America, while other branch migrated to Eurasia, giving rise to the Gray Wolf. Between 150,000—300,000 years ago, the North American branch evolved into the eastern wolf and the Coyote. [5] Wilson et al. (2000) concluded that the Eastern Wolf and Red Wolf should be considered as sister taxa and recognized as distinct species from other North American canids. However, the canonical listing of mammal species lists them both as subspecies of the Gray Wolf.

Theres a slow-mo version of the tf where he jumps through the air. His arm randomly dissappears and *poof* out comes a dog paw in a completely different place. Obviously they couldn't get him to pose right while jumping.
The wolf is ginger and looks like someones fursona or something from Ginga Densetsu Weed lol.
They pretty much take a legend, file down the nasty villianous bits then take it to a 12 year old girls slumberparty to get a make over. -yey glitter-
And the lead guy is NOT that hot. He looks like Frankenstein's monster or something, I don't get what the big draw is.
Did you hear about the fans at the red carpet who cut their necks to let him "feed"?

Some people need siting down in a nice padded room, and explaining in a slow calm voice that Films are not REAL.

Did you hear about the fans at the red carpet who cut their necks to let him "feed"? Where are the friends or family of these people? I'd be taking my mate for some serious therapy if they did that!!!!!

Oye....well there's some people who live a "vampire lifestyle" where they drink human blood. They talked about it on gaia online. It's...interesting...to say the least. O.o I do think people go a little too far.
