Why is it so hard to make a good werewolf movie? Vampires, even zombies, have some pretty awsome movies out, but for some reason decent werewolf movies only come around once every decade or so. In part, it's due to makeup and effects. It's a lot easier to make a vampire or a zombie look good, than to do a convincing werewolf. So, more vamp and zombie films are made than werewolf ones - and when you have an expanded number of films you have a bigger chance of good ones each year, whilst the bad ones disappear. Whereas with so few werewolf films a bad one is more memorable. and dont forget, the chicks dig tortured vampire souls, nobody cares for werewolves...  |
