My region 1 'Hammer Horror Series' boxset arrived in the post last week, and I just finished watching 'Curse of the Werewolf' with Oliver Reed. Boy do the colors look sweet! It's an excelent looking print which really adds another layer to the movie. Blood is really red (sixties blood baby!) but other than that it's an awesome version of the film to have in my collection. Can't wait to watch the other films! 'Brides of Dracula' is next on my list!

Awesome! I love Curse of the Werewolf, a very young sexy Oliver Reed playing my favourite horror movie monster.

Aha, I have that boxset! Which I of course bought for Curse of the Werewolf primarily (that movie really should come out on region 2). I really like the set, Curse is my fave but I also really enjoyed the 2 vampire movies, Brides of Dracula and Kiss of the Vampire, vintage Hammer!
Just to warn you, probably due to so many movies being crammed onto relatively few discs, some people have found that some of these don't play. Unfortunately mine is afftected in this way; 'Paranoiac' doesn't work.

I must say the all-regions Dvd player I've had these past couple of years has never let me down. I love my Dvd player!

The wolf makeup is awesome! It isn't shown until the last reel, but it's worth the wait.

Yes the make up is really good for it's time. I was very impressed with this movie all around. The acting is good. Except for the very beginning. Ha Ha

It certainly should, as should most of the other films in the set.

If you guys really can't get a hold of this then download it off of a torrent site.
I had to. I hate downloading movies or music but I was forced too on this one.

I can highly recommend getting an all-region dvd player to Dvd lovers out there! It's worth the investment if you collect cult movies.

I really want one, I am building up a region 2 dvd list and when I have enough im getting a player and all the movies. I usually just get it on vhs though, I am a retro fan anyways. Ill take a VCR over a blue ray player any day.
