Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019) I was watching this and got interrupted by a phone call. I never got back to it probably because I was having trouble getting into it. What did you think?

More Horror Anthologies Creepshow 2 (1987) Amusement (2008) I have not seen Amusement. Is it OK? Creepahow 2 did not impress me that much. It comes nowhere near the great creepy fun of the original of course. But even without that, none of the stories really worked for me. For one think they struck me as too drawn out to have the impact they should have had.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019) I was watching this and got interrupted by a phone call. I never got back to it probably because I was having trouble getting into it. What did you think? It kept my attention and I liked the young female lead. Still scratch my head at them releasing it August 2019. Especially it being PG-13, guranteed wide release that should;ve been in October. A sequel was announced back in April, the Director will return.

Ghost in the Graveyard (2019)
First the good stuff. Camera work is very good. Direction is not bad. The idea is interesting. But...
The story line is confused. Little girl gets killed playing in the graveyard at night. Haunts the place and kills people. Coven of witches hold rituals there. This could have been made into something good but it comes across as just a bunch of pieces looking for a script. Dialog is bad. Acting is pedestrian mainly because nobody is given much to work with. Lots of teen angst throughout the movie for no apparent reason. All sorts of unexplained but not seemingly relevant plot elements.
A disappointing effort that could have been better with more focused and professional writing.

KL Zombi (2013) From Malaysia Malay with English subtitles
KL stands for Kuala Lumpur, the major metropolitan center of Malaysia.
A comedy-horror, with emphasis on dumb comedy. Intentionally silly humorous dialog and situations. Lots of fake blood and zombie action. Running gags, including a con artist and his 'cure everything' products, and fried flat noodles. Sly references to Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland and even Terminator 2. Turn off your brain and take it for what it is, deliberate nonsensical fun.
On Netflix

I have not seen Amusement. Is it OK? Decent horror anthology. Three segrments, all brief and Female Led. The bonus is the wrap around story that connects all three women.

No Escape (2015)
The closest Owen Wilson has come to doing a zombie movie.
An tense action thriller, that plays out like a zombie outbreak.
