Been busy lately and have neglected posting here.
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948)
That is the actual full title. It works as a pretty good horror film and as a comedy because the funny parts are left to A&C and the rest of the cast concentrates on their horror personas. Lugosi finally gets to play Dracula again, his second and last appearance in a movie with the D name. Lon Chaney does his Larry Talbot / Wolf Man character again. Laughs result from juxtaposing this with Costello - he turns werewolf while talking to Lou on the phone, his attempts to kill Costello in the apartment get thwarted by unlikely occurrences with Lou oblivious to it all. And Talbot pouring forth his angst about being a werewolf to Lou would be a totally serious scene in another movie, but here Costello's facial reactions are hilarious. There is one small exception to the horror guys leaving the comedy alone. In one scene, Costello has been hypnotized by Dracula and is standing staring into space. Dracula is leading the Frankenstein monster, played again by Glenn Strange, past Lou and the monster turns around with a look of terror on his face at Lou.

Movies I have recently re-watched on TV. commercials and all.
King Kong (1976)
Good parts but mostly meh IMO
Deadpool (2016)
Mixture of dead seriousness (pun intended) and rather sick mirth with loads of Marvel grade action. Plus breaking the fourth wall. My kind of movie.
King Kong Escapes (1967)
Delightfully bad Japanese monster movie with totally sucky FX. The movie mimics many scenes from the 1933 original King Kong. Climax is the battle between Kong and a giant metal robot Kong. If you do not take it seriously, this is a hilarious watch.
Conan the Barbarian (1982)
Conan the Destroyer (1984)
Terminator 2 (1991)
These three Schwarzenegger vehicles were back to back on TV. The first Conan is an excellent movie in every way. The second is not on a par with it but still a good watch. If Barbarian is a graphic novel, Destroyer is a comic book. T2 is a rare case of a truly top notch sequel to an excellent first movie.

Master of White Crane Fist (2019)
A good example of a Chinese made Kung Fu movie. Plot, acting, subtitled dialog, production values were all quite good. Kung Fu action was terrific with slo mo on the best parts. Bottom Line: Good fun!

Wolfblood (1925)
Not the British tween series (which, okay, I actually think is okay) but the oldest - or at least, oldest surviving - werewolf movie.
This silent film concerns a rivalry between two lumber companies that escalates to violence. When the foreman of one company is severely injured only a blood transfusion can save him. With no human candidates available, the doctor uses the blood of a wolf.
There are a lot of copies on YouTube but I watched on a DVD from Netflix.

Leviathan (1989)
A deep-sea mining crew at the very end of a three-month rotation encounters a mutant creature.
This is one of those that, unfortunately, I kind of remember as being better. It was fun enough, I guess, but with all the elements it had going for it - a cast which includes Peter Weller, Amanda Pays, Richard Crenna, and Hector Elizondo, as well as practical creature effects by Stan Winston Studios - I think it could have been better.
Still, not that bad and a fun enough way to while away an early Saturday morning before the stores start opening. And it looked great thanks, I imagine, to the production design credit for Ron Cobb.
