Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)
Valentine's Bluff (2023)
A full-length My Bloody Valentine fan-film on YouTube.
Scream VI (2023)
Streaming on Paramount+. I enjoyed it and the change of setting. Ghostface takes Montreal (I mean, "New York")

Bumblebee (2018)
The Transformers offshoot film. And the only Transformers movie I've watched more than once. (this was my second time)
Star Wars (1977)
The one, the only, the original. And by 'original' I mean the 4K77 scan of an original film print that's out there, completely unmodified by Lucas and co.
King Kong (1933)
The Eighth Wonder of the World himself - KONG!

Watched a couple of series on Peacock:
Vigil (2021)
A police inspector is sent to sign off on a death aboard a Royal Navy nuclear submarine and winds up in deep trouble in more ways than one.
Trigger Point (2022)
A member of the London bomb squad chases a terrorist.
It looks like there might be another season of each but I guess they haven't hit streaming on this side of the pond, yet.
Started watching Silo on Apple TV since there was a six-month free trial for PlayStation users.
As for the movies...
The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Since it's STAR WARS season I had to keep going. Watched the official Blu-ray since the 'special edition' tinkering in this one doesn't bother me too much.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)
Made the road trip to see this in 3D. Pretty good wrap-up to the series, but I can see people who didn't watch the Holiday Special on Disney+ being a little annoyed at some stuff that just seemed to pop up out of the blue.
Return of the Jedi (1983)
Had to pop in my DVD of the Despecialized Edition for this one, because the 'special edition' tinkering did bother me too much.
Slashorette Party (2020)
Low-budget throwback slasher about a killer going after a bride-to-be and her friends at a cabin in the woods.
The Mother (2023)
New action flick on Netflix with Jennifer Lopez as an assassin coming out of hiding to save the daughter she had to give up at birth.
Confess, Fletch (2022)
Entertaining, with Jon Hamm taking over the Fletch role. Like him better than Chevy Chase but I've never read the books to know which one is closer to the source material. On Paramount+ now.
Slash/Back (2022)
A handful of Inuit girls from a remote town near the Artic circle fight off an alien invasion. Fun movie. On Hulu now.
Terminator 2 (1991)
This was converted to 3D for a Blu-ray release so of course I tracked it down. Great movie, no matter what D you watch it in.
Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
This Marvel movie is on Disney+ now.

Watcher (2022)
A woman notices a man in the apartment across the street staring at her around the same time a serial killer is stalking the area. Saw it described as a cross between Rear Window and Halloween. Could've used more 'Halloween.' Little slow, but not bad. Streaming on Hulu.
Shazam: Fury of the Gods (2023)
The latest DC superhero flick (at least until The Flash hits theaters, I guess). I enjoyed it. Streaming on the-channel-formerly-known-as-HBOMax, now simply 'Max.'
John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)
Apparently getting posted to Twitter left and right since it hit the streaming channels and Twitter is a dumpster fire. Yeah, they're just excuses for really well-choreographed fight scenes but when they look this good, that's enough.
Jurassic Park (1993)
Online discussions got me wanting to watch the 3D version again. Still really, really good.
Astonishing Tales of Terror: Rocktapussy! (2022)
This was actually more entertaining than I expected. Brigitte Kingsley (star of the 'Dark Rising' series of films I still haven't seen) stars as the fearless and sexy hero reporter facing off against parasite-induced zombies, some undead knight cultist, and...um...a giant octopus god, all while trapped in a mine. Streaming on Tubi and Amazon's Freevee app.
Wolf Garden (2023)
One of those produced/written/directed/starring one dude types of things. Nicely done from a technical standpoint but it's slow and a little full of itself, going for haunting mystery rather than real horror. Now streaming for free on Vudu, Plex, the Roku Channel, and Amazon Prime.
Also finished off the UK version of the sitcom Ghosts on Max since I enjoyed the American remake.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)
Only worked half a day on Friday (which is about half a day longer than we've been working on Friday - the hours have really sucked for a while) so I went to see this. Can't believe they didn't release it in 3D.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
With the new Indy movie coming up, I figured I'd better temper my expectations.
Since most of my regular shows are done for the season I thought I'd finally get around to the Chucky series but decided I'd better work thru the movies, first.
Child's Play (1988)
Serial killer Charles Lee Ray (aka Chucky) cheats death by using a spell to possess a Good Guys doll. Now he needs to possess another human body or be stuck in the doll, which is where eight-year-old Andy comes in.
Child's Play 2 (1990)
The possessed doll is rebuilt by the company to discover what the problem was. It works too well because Chucky comes back to life and sets out after Andy again, now living with a foster family since his mom has been committed for insisting a doll was responsible for the previous murders.
Child's Play 3 (1991)
Eight years later the company wants to relaunch the Good Guys dolls and wouldn't you know it, Chucky gets revived again. Now sixteen, Andy has been shipped off to military school.
Bride of Chucky (1998)
Turns out Chucky had a girlfriend back before his 'death' and she's finally figured out how to get him back but the reunion doesn't go as she hoped - she becomes a doll, too.

Finished up the Chucky collection on Tubi
Seed of Chucky (2004)
Chucky's a dad!
Curse of Chucky (2013)
Chucky goes back to basics after the craziness of the last couple
Cult of Chucky (2017)
Chucky has learned some new tricks and runs into some old faces
Now I can dive into the Chucky TV series properly.
Renfield (2023)
The Nic Cage Dracula movie hit Peacock streaming. I enjoyed it.
Captain America: Winter Soldier (2014)
Had to pull the disc out and watch this one again.
Between playing Star Trek: Resurgence and rewatching season one of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds in preparation for season two, I decided to dust off the Kelvin-verse trilogy
Star Trek (2009) Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) Star Trek Beyond (2016)
65 (2023)
Spent a few bucks to rent this Adam Driver vs. Dinosaurs movie. Should've waited. It was pretty bland.
The Ghost Galleon (1974)
Caught most of this on Tubi. People that like slow zombies should like it because these were about the slowest undead I've ever seen. I'm sure it has fans but I'm not one of them.
Extraction 2 (2023)
Chris Hemsworth's answer to John Wick is back on Netflix. Spectacularly well-done action scenes and a decent watch in general.
The Flash (2023)
Made another excursion off to a neighboring town to catch the latest superhero flick. Flawed, but fun enough I thought. Really liked Sasha Calle as Supergirl.
Robot Monster (1953)
Back before our work hours dropped so badly, I donated to the Kickstarter to get this "classic" on 3D Blu-ray so it was a nice surprise when it showed up.
Also got caught up on the series Joe Pickett on Paramount and have been watching Silo on Apple (and I hope it finishes before my free trial is up)
