Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-A-Rama 2 (2022)
Even lower budget (at least, as appearances go) sequel to the 80s classic. Directed by Brinke Stevens who also appears in the film along with Michelle Bauer, who co-starred with her in the original. Also starring Kelli Maroney.
Terror Train (2022)
Tubi's remake, with guests on a Halloween train ride stalked by a killer out for revenge. Wynonna Earp's Doc Holliday, Tim Rozon, takes David Copperfield's Magician role this time around.
Terror Train 2 (2022)
The survivors from the first film go back on the rails for a New Year's ride in an attempt to come to terms with the past but someone has other plans for them.
The Barbarians (1987)
Watched this on Prime in memory of recently passed director, Ruggero Deodato. Bodybuilding brothers Peter and David Paul star as the titular Barbarians out for revenge against Richard Lynch for, well, the usual things Richard Lynch does in these sorts of films. Michael Berryman shows up, too.
The Lair (2022)
Directed by Neil Marshall and combining bits of his (much better) films Dog Soldiers and Descent. Starring Charlotte Kirk (who also gets co-writing credit).
From IMDb: "When Royal Air Force pilot Lt. Kate Sinclair is shot down over Afghanistan, she finds refuge in an abandoned underground bunker where deadly man-made biological weapons - half human, half alien - are awakened."
Fun enough creature-feature but with some goofy stuff, like Jamie Bamber's attempt at a southern US accent.
From Redbox.
Pearl (2022)
Prequel to writer/director Ti West's X, with Mia Goth returning. I guess a sequel to X is on the way, too. I've enjoyed these two so I'll watch another one. Also from RedBox.
Bloody New Year (1987)
Bloody awful. Tries to be Evil Dead once in a while. On Tubi.
Titanic (1997)
I watched the first half a few weeks back so I finally put in disc 2 of the 3D Blu-ray to finish it. Spoiler alert - the ship still sinks.
Real Steel (2011)
A first-watch for me. Very loosely based on a Richard Matheson story tho it's basically a Rocky remake. Good movie, with a handful of Marvel superhero actors - Hugh Jackman, Anthony Mackie, and Evangeline Lilly - and some nicely done animatronic and CGI robot boxers.
On Hulu.

Wind River (2017)
Shades of Shoot To Kill, where an experienced outdoorsman/hunter helps out a city-bred FBI agent, this time in wintertime Wyoming. Marvel vets Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen star, with appearances by favorite Graham Greene and Netflix Marvel star Jon Bernthal. Pretty good. Free on Roku, Vudu, and Amazon's Freevee (formerly IMDbTV)
Blood Moon (short) (2016)
Stumbled across this little werewolf 'movie' on Amazon and it was a cheap rental. Okay for what it was.
Skyfire (2016)
Had this in my Hulu list for so long that I forgot why I put it there. Still not sure, unless it was just to watch a volcano destroy a swanky resort built in a really bad place.
D.O.A. Dead or Alive (2006)
Who said video game adaptions suck. This movie is amazing. I pull out the Blu-ray once or twice a year.
Lone Wolf (1988)
A low-budget eighties werewolf movie that I apparently don't own somehow. Thank goodness for Tubi.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
The original classic.
Freddy vs. Jason (2003)
Since I'd already watched 'Nightmare...' this seemed like a good Friday the 13th choice this time around.
Doctor Strange (2016)
Yet another Marvel 3D Blu-ray. The reality-bending magic stuff looked really cool in 3D.
Sick (2022)
New one on Peacock. Scream creator Kevin Williamson heads back to slasher film territory, co-writing this tale of a couple of college kids going off to quarantine at a secluded lake house during the early days of the COVID pandemic. Pretty good.
Slumber Party Massacre (2021)
I'd seen a couple of people comment that this was a pretty good remake and it's a cheap Amazon rental. They were right, this was fairly bloody and fun.
The Last of Us (2023)
The extended premiere on HBOMax of their new series based on the video game. Great game and the show is off to a good start.
Also started watching the sitcom Ghosts, which I've been enjoying for something light when my 'regular' shows aren't on.

The Stewardesses (1969)
Another inexpensive 3D Blu-ray. Typical 70s drive-in sexploitation stuff following the 'adventures' of several stewardesses during a layover. Last one went pretty dark, tho.
Violent Night (2022)
From IMDb: "When a group of mercenaries attack the estate of a wealthy family, Santa Claus must step in to save the day (and Christmas)."
David Harbour as Santa and John Leguizamo as the merc leader, 'Scrooge.'
Streaming now on Peacock. Possibly a new Christmas staple for me.
Pacific Rim (2013)
Watched the giant robots fight to save the planet from the giant monsters in this Guillermo del Toro film, via 3D Blu-ray. Still fun, and still makes me mad the sequel was so bad.

Ah...I missed doing this last weekend, I guess.
Looks like I've been on a Marvel movie kick (more than usual, I mean)
Some more 3D Blu-rays...
Ant-Man (2015)
Black Panther (2018)
Doctor Strange and the Multi-Verse of Madness (2022)
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
As well as the latest one to hit Disney+
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)
The characters deal with the loss of T'Challa (the late Chadwick Boseman) and a new threat to Wakanda in the form of Namor
Viking Wolf (2022)
New Norwegian werewolf movie (aka Vikingulven) finally hit Netflix. CGI wolf but pretty good even so.
Maneater (2022)
Not really the season for it but a newish shark movie hit Hulu so I had to check it out. (I wouldn't be surprised if there's some sort of Valentine-themed shark movie out there somewhere - maybe I'll look next weekend)
Pretty middle-of-the-road with all the CGI sharkiness but really, I don't go into these expecting much so I was mostly entertained.

My Bloody Valentine (1981) My Bloody Valentine 3D (2009)
Pulled out my Blu-rays to do a holiday double-feature, of course. Still prefer the original but the remake wasn't half-bad and I did like the 3D effect of the light from Harry Warden's helmet shining off the screen
White House Down (2013)
The other 'terrorists take over the White House' movie that came out in 2013, this time with Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx as the lone cop on hand to save the day and the President, respectively. I was in the mood for an action flick and this worked nicely. On Amazon Prime.
Vertical Limit (2000)
A guy at work mentioned it one time and I saw it was on Paramount+. Decent cast but could've been a shorter movie, I think.

Tron: Legacy (2010)
My Saturday morning 3D movie
Moonchild (1994)
A micro-budget (IMDb says $500) werewolf flick from Todd Sheets, who brought us the slightly higher-budgeted Bonehill Road a few years back. They tried a physical transformation tho, so good for them. Streaming on Tubi
Unhuman (2022)
A high school field trip takes a bloody detour. On Amazon Prime and Paramount+
Wraith (2018)
Fairly lackluster haunted house movie - not really a horror film - and hurt by one actor's performance in particular. I watched it because it starred Ali Hillis, who voiced a character in my favorite video game series - Mass Effect. Also stars Lance Henriksen who *also* voiced a character in Mass Effect. And neither of them was the one I had the problem with.
Streaming all over the place it looks like - Amazon Prime, Paramount+, Tubi, Freevee...
