Werewolf movie threads seem a little thin on the ground at the moment so i thought i'd see what everyone will be doing over the festive season.
We'll be having friends and family round for a huge turkey dinner and gift exchanging. Then i'll probably be asleep in a chair for the Queen's speech and then awake in time for the My Family Christmas Special that seems to have replaced the Only Fools and Horses Ones!
So what about everyone else? Is there anyone on here that doesn't celebrate xmas perhaps or are you all putting up with family members that you only see once a year?

For me, it'll be present opening in the morning, then christmas dinner with the family, and watching whatever film or program that jumps out of the TV guide at me.
Not really a lot different from what happens on a Sunday, except we'll be wearing paper hats!!

My family and I pretty much have two Christmas days...the localized one and the family reunion one. We're going to Iowa, where the majority of my extended family lives, a week from Saturday. We'll eat, open presents from each other, and then sort of split into various groups. Some will watch the football game, some will play cards, most of the younger ones will play video games and pool in the basement. I fall into that group, even though I'm 24, because I'll be bringing Guitar Hero III.
Then on the traditional Christmas day, my immediate family will wait for everyone to wake up, then we'll open presents and watch whatever part of "A Christmas Story" is on TBS at the time. They have this gimmick where they show it all day on Christmas. Then we'll probably just all go about our regular businesses.

Hopefully I'll be waking up, unwrapping presents, then playing Mass Effect on the Xbox 360 for a month.

Wake up. Eat. Watch some tv. Eat some more. Watch a bit more tv. Have a rest. Watch Doctor Who: Voyage of the Damned at 18:50. Drink lots of whiskey and eat many savoury snackfoods. Sleep.
Oh, and wish the baby Jesus a happy birthday

So eating will be playing a large part in most people's day then!

Yeah. But only cause it's a tradition, otherwise I'd not be eating all those chocolates, ice cream, buscuits, cakes, snackes, turkey, more turkey, and finally some turkey.

I don't like alcohol so I won't be drinking. As I've never been drunk sometimes I think I'm missing out on something, but than I see someone that's drunk and think it's just silly.

There are always one or two bizarre choices of programming for christmas. Check out "Oldboy" on at 12.45am Christmas morning. Who the hell is going to be watching that??

Every year In America, TBS shows "A Christmas Story" literally all day. I believe I already mentioned that. But I just found out something new...another channel, FX, is going to be showing "Robots" all day on Christmas. That's the 3-D animated movie with Robin Williams and Ewan McGregor from '05. As far as I can remember, it isn't a holiday-themed film, so that's a little odd. But it's decent, so I'll watch it.
