Honorable Mention to the following, for reasons noted:

Underworld Evolution - More of a vampire movie, but the werewolves looked really good.

Cursed - Even though it seemed like the writers gave up about halfway through the film, the werewolf looked really good.

An American Werewolf in London - I like it all right, but other than the transformation scene and parts afterwards, it doesn't keep my attention well.

The Howling - Same as AWIL.

Silver Bullet - The only reasons I like it is because it's based on a good book and Gary Busey's in it.

And I must say that Darkwolf is probably the worst werewolf movie I've ever seen.

Okay, looking back, I don't think I like "An American Werewolf in Paris" that much. I watched it with some friends, and we laughed at it a lot. And I had to explain a lot of it. Stick AWIL in its place.

I;m not sure my top 5 applies any more (noticed I posted it before becoming a member ), I've seen a lot of movies since. plus I haven't seen a lot of recent flicks.

Your top five's always gonna change cos because of the influx of new movies coming out and the opportunity to see ones for the first time. But i'm pretty sure AWIL and Dog Soliders will always remain in my top 5.

Not had chance to ctach any of the animated Hellboys yet. What they liked. Loved the movie.

1. AWIL - The funniest and most tragic of the Werewolf genre.
2. Ginger Snaps I & II (A sneaky way of getting 6 movies in my top 5)
3. The Howling (minus Dee Wallace's transformation scene)
4. Dog Soldiers (just a heap of fun)
5. Blood Moon a.k.a. Wolf Girl (if you haven't seen it, check it out, but it's more of a story about hypertrichosis than one of a werewolf)

I had to look mine up again to see what i had put! Well my list has changed. Right now i'd put it as the following:
