Ashamed to say The Company of Wolves and Curse of the Werewolf are among the few titles I haven't gotten my hands on to date (particularly considering I've sat through Blood and Chocolate and Skinwalkers recently, among others). They're on the "to do" list for the near future, but there's still a chance they could break the top 5, considering what I've heard about them. I've also had the worst time tracking down Blood Moon online. Haven't heard a bunch about that one.

When your boyfriend came back, did he start having to shave more often on the full moon?
Stick with only seeing the 1st Howling. the rest are not good.
Nothing wrong wtih Cursed. Well yes there are a few things wrong with it. But it is watchable. did you see the cut (cert 15) or uncut (cert 18) version of it?

Out of curiosity, I went back through this thread today in order to compile an aggregate top ten out of everyone's lists. I assigned points so that number one received five, number two four, etc. Here is what I ended up with.
1. An American Werewolf in London 2. Dog Soldiers 3. The Howling 4. Bad Moon 5. Ginger Snaps 6. The Company of Wolves 7. Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning 8. The Wolf Man (1941) 9. Silver Bullet 10. The Curse of the Werewolf & Ginger Snaps Unleashed (tied)
One or two people voted for "The Ginger Snaps Trilogy", in which case I split the points between the films. Had I combined the points, the top ten would look more like this:
1. An American Werewolf in London 2. Dog Soldiers 3. The Ginger Snaps Trilogy 4. The Howling 5. Bad Moon 6. The Company of Wolves 7. The Wolf Man (1941) 8. Silver Bullet 9. The Curse of the Werewolf 10. Wolf & The Wolf Man (2010) - tied (bearing in mind the Wolf Man remake was not released when this thread started)

1. Ginger Snaps - all three 2. An American Werewolf in London 3. Dog Soldiers 4. The Howling (demerit for the too easy killing of the werewolves) 5. The Wolf Man (1941)

Loving the fact that AAWIL, Dog Soldiers and Bad Moon made the top five of both of your compilation lists Noel. It's great that we're all pretty much on the same page.
