I was thinking about starting my own site and im curious to know what host you use for this one, i see proboards at the bottom. fatcow.com is a pretty cheap host and comes with some pretty good perks, but im a little new to this.

If it's a forum you want, proboards is a very good choice. Lots of good features and all free except you need to pay a small monthly fee if you want to get rid of the banner ads.
As for the site itself, I use bluehost. Very cheap fees, and they will sort out your domain registration and web hosting as well. PHP and MySQL are fully supported if you want to do anything fancy like a database, and it also has two or three very good tools for monitoring the traffic of your site, seeing how many hits you are getting, which pages are the most popular and so on.

yea I mainly want a database and a forum, pretty much what you have here but one that consists of all horror. Thanks for the 1 up.

It should all be working correctly now, I chose a nice theme and the room name should be 'werewolf movies'. I can also set moderators for the chat as I did here, who can kick, ban, etc.

Yay for chat! I like how simple it is to use. Not like those other chatrooms that need all sort of installation crap and passwords and keys and stuff just to have a conversation.
