Now that I think about it, there aren't that many werewolf sequels that I consider terrible. A lot of them are actually not bad ... "Ginger Snaps 2" was awesome. I hear "Kibakichi 2" is okay. Umm. "Underworld : Evolution" wasn't bad and "Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man" was cool.
The bad ones ... "The Howling II", "Teen Wolf Too", "American Werewolf in Paris" (though even that had its moments ...)
What have I missed?

howling 6 was not very good, but not nearly as bad as howling 2.
Some people will argue that howling 3 and 4 are bad but i love them. Havnt seen 5 and 7.
American werewolf in paris.
And ye. Frankenstein meets the wolfman was pretty good. But much more so in the first half that was more a true sequel to the wolf man than the second half that was more like any of those other movies universal made to cash in on their characters.

I've been trying to think of other sequals that were bad, but apart from the howling ones I cannot think of any. Seems most werewolf films are stand alone ones, rather than ones which film makes think of as sequal material. I've often wondered why.

Not seen Howling 2 yet (it's showing on Zone Horror 28th July) American Werewolf in Paris was bad compared with AAWIL, but had a couple of moments. Not seen Howling 3 yet but thought thr last 10mins of Howling 4 was okay?

Don't watch howling 2. Really don't!! Pretend it doesn't exist and go strait to the other ones, which are not very good, but at least watchable.
They don't have a lot to do with the original, apart from there being werewolves, it's more like they had a werwolf film, and just stuck on the Howling name instead of giving them their own.

On your own head be it than.
For me, it's the worsed werewolf film I've ever seen, and in my top 10 of all time worse films I've seen.
But I guess in some cases learning has to be through experience.

Wow. You need to watch more movies. (not saying H2 is good, just I can think of a ton more that are worse)

Yes, but ask yourself, would you have watched Darkwolf if you'd already seen it? - erm don't think that came out right . . .
. . . and I've seen loads of films, my collection of dvd's and vhs is measured by 100s
