RZ turned him into a roided up serial killer. Completely stripped the Supernatural element, Michael was no longer The Shape, Boogeyman. Or Evil on two legs. I cannot think of a single Rob Zombie movie that I liked. It is not the gore, it is that for the most part that is all there is.
I liked House of 1000 Corpses.
The Devil's Rejects had a great opening scene, that's about it.

Lords of Satan was ummm.... House of 1000 Corpses at least did not pretend to be anything else but a mostly incoherent gore fest. Taken as that with no other expectations, it is a wild wacky ride, enjoyable in a sick sort of way. |
