Re-doing the Movies

DS was one of the best werewolf movies i have seen. Just took me a while to get it on dvd.
Any word on the second movie, or did it like die like most good sounding werewolf movies these days

Last I heard on the sequal, it had been shelved.

The rumors I heard was that the cast they wanted to return in the sequal refused for one reason or another, so the script thay had wouldn't work without some major re-writting.

So, don't hold your breath for a sequal. Which is a real shame.

Because no matter what any cat says *waves at Mau* Dog Soldiers is a great werewolf film.

I could handle a movie dealing with the same concept as Howling II, with the progenitor of the werewolf species returning, potentially ushering in a new age in which mankind is knocked out of the top spot in the food chain. I don't think I'd like it if it was a remake per se, but revisiting the story with a fresh look and a touch of quality could make for a seriously great horror flick.

Of course, I think I'd prefer it not be labeled as Howling 8...

I cannot imagine Dog Soldiers requiring a remake or a sequel. It was great as it was, and if the planned sequel isn't gonna happen, I'd prefer they let it be.

I agree that if the sequel originally planned isn't going to made they should just forget about it but i still live in hope that they will make it.
