I just bought my second copy which is the steelbook edition. Well i watched it again just because i had nothing else to do. I don't know what happened, but the second watch made me realize that this movie is a masterpiece. I knew it was good before, but now its one of my favorites. Great fx's (very little cg if any ;D), comedy (which i love in a horror movie), and a great story with a nice twist at the end. Great film!

I agree with you. An excellent film. Just a shame the sequal seems to have fallen through.

Have you listen to the commentary on the film? When i was off work in March i listened to it and it was really funny and interesting. Well worth listening to once.

it sure is a masterpiece... Anyone knows where i can get the steelbook edition cheap?.. preferably a UK or another European site. Ofcourse the best thing would be a Danish site or store, but i'm guessing that wont happen anytime soon, since we're always so far behind

I didnt think they had commentary. Well, the UK version certainly has a commentary. It has two infact. The best by far is the director and cast commentary, which is very funny and informative. A group of blokes sat around having a beer and watching a movie...that they made. The other is the American producer's commentary, which is fine and mildly interesting. BTW it seems that the sequel has completely dissapeared from Kismet's production slate. It's page has also gone from IMDB. Strange.

We get the shaft in the U.S.. There are so many banned movies and for some reason region 2 dvd's have way cooler box art. A perfect example is the phantasm sphere collection which only in region 2.

Actually I've noticed that too. Silent Hill is one example, the R1 cover is so rubbish. And I've just heard tht All the Boys Love Mandy Lane STILL isn't out over in the US, where the film was made, what's up with that? It came out here about a year and a half ago!

I've got both region 1 and 2 dvd's in my collection (and I think 1 region 3 one). I made sure when I was buying my dvd player that it could be made multi-regional just because not every film I want is available in just one region code.
We may have cooler artwork on some of the dvd's but a lot of region 1 films get more extras that are missed off region 2 versions.

Yeah lots of Region 1 films have better stuff than some of the region 2.

I had to buy a multi regional DVD player so i could enjoy the delights of Bad Moon which ranks highly on my favourite WW movies list. Sometimes i wonder about the UK. We can't get something as ace as Bad Moon but yet they have released Howard the Duck and Gigli? ??
