I hope they go all out on the werewolf transformations. Me too. Hope they stick with a biped.

I hope they go all out on the werewolf transformations. Well, sure. Who's going to say, "I hope they skimp on the werewolf transformation(s)"? Though, now that I mention it, I don't really care much about the transformation scene(s) (or if there even are any) so long as there's a good story and acting and whatnot. A good transformation scene is no substitute for a good story. Perhaps I used to think otherwise, but not any more. And I really hope they don't make the characters look like idiots during the transformation like they did in the first one. As if Eddie wasn't dumb enough for letting what's-her-face have freedom of motion while he took forever to change, she took the cake for staying in the room when she could have made a break for it. I mean, if you're going to attack someone, but it takes you forever to load your weapon, at least restrain them or something. And even if what's-her-face was in awe of what she was seeing, she certainly had enough time to get over it and grab the acid; why'd she wait so long to use it? And why am I ranting so much?

Well, sure. Who's going to say, "I hope they skimp on the werewolf transformation(s)"? By all out, I mean doing something we've not seen before, or spending the cash to make the transformations work really really well, and not look just CGI. When I see it, I want to say to myself "wow, they actually hired a real werewolf". I do agree with you that a good storyline and good acting are very important. And without that the film would fail. As for the length of time it took Eddie to change in the film, and the girl to fail to do anything whilst it's happening. I agree, she should have legged it, or at least tried to. Hopefully in the remake if they do a similar scene they'll take into account that the victim should be doing something, and not just waiting to be eaten.

Yeah, bind her or something. Not to sound like a bondage fetishist, but it's just practical. Of course, then she'd need to escape...unless they throw us a monkey wrench and just kill her.

The sad thing is there will probably be a lot of CG, thats the bad thing about these new horror films today. I really miss the old Tom Savinie, Rick Barker, and Stand Winston touch, but we shall wait and see. I do hope they make the plot a little driffrent, I will be much more proned to liking it if I can think of it as a seguel than a remake.

CG monsters work much better for fantasy and adventure, because you're not necessarily supposed to be scared of them. But they look too fake to be in horror.

Agreed. I prefer a man in a suit!

I like it when they use a guy in a suit, which gives a good physical presence, and then do the fine detail in CGI where physical effects cannot do.

CG can be used right they just choose to abuse it instead of using it only where it is needed.
