I read a script review of this film recently, not something I'd normally do and not something that would normally influence my feelings about a movie, but I really wanted to know the tone of this film.
Sadly it sounds like tween-romance-Twilighty-bullshit has seriously infected The Howling series.

From what i have heard it is an adaptation directly from the first book,so personally looking forward to it,there has been some rumor of the second book being done as well in a faithful adaptation

Twilight type movies are whats doing big business at the moment. So i guess it's hardly suprising they'll make use of the concept. I really do just prefer to see slaughter!

Sorry to dissapoint, but this movie sounds like it has almost zero similarities to Gary Brandner's novel. It's set in a high school, the main character is a nerdy student who is initiated into a Twilight-style gang of werewolf 'cool kids'.
I'll give it a chance but I have VERY low expectations for this one.

'Lost Boys' with Werewolves makes it sound less bad. I wouldn't mind seeing that film...
Christopher Lee should do another Howling movie...he won't, but he should.

Exactly. Mr Lee should be in every new release. Frankly i'd like to see him arrive in Forks and kick both Team Edward and Team Jacob round a bit!
