Some may laugh and some may cry and some may run screaming in the streets....just don't shoot the messenger with silver bullets. This website reports that The Howling: Reborn begins shooting this coming February (2010). Joe Nimziki to direct and write. Moonstone Entertainment to produce. www.aintitcool.com/node/43163

I'm gonna keep an open mind about this. After all i sat through the line dancing! Let's wait till we get more information on it and then see. I'll be interested in seeing their werewolf designs.

Hopefully they'll take inspiration from the first film and the book, rather than any of the sequals.
I just hope they spend enough money and have good acting/script. I'd hate to see it turn into another nail in Howling's coffin.

You couldn't fit any more nails in it! We'll just have to wait and see.

It can't be worse than New Moon Rising. It just can't.

I hope it's completely different than the original. We already have the original. I want something else.

I know not many people are fans of the original novel, but I like it. I think the basic story is great. I'd like to see a good adaption of that. The original Howling film is great but I'm open to another interpretation of the source material. After all the appalling sequels this can't be any worse. Can it?

Having never read the novel i have no idea how closely the movie resemabled the book. If it was quite a way off than a different interpretation could be good.

Didn't they try to adapt the novel again in Howling IV?

I've read about the first 3rd of the novel - I started it but never finished it.
The film seemed to follow the book - though with a few differences, as in the book the woman was raped, rather then stalked at the start.
No idea if it deviates off later on though.

Yep, Howling IV was a much more direct adaption of the book. Personally, I thought the changes made for the movie were an improvement.

I hope they go all out on the werewolf transformations.
