The Long Night (2022)
This is an odd one, a mashup of satanic and folks horror.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)

Walking With Dinosaurs: The Movie (2013)
Still on a dinosaur (as well as 3D) kick I put this one in. Typical "animals on a journey" type flick, but with dinos. Surprise - to me - appearance by Karl Urban in the bookend segments.
Finished off the Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous series and the first season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, too.
Under Paris (2024)
New shark movie on Netflix getting a bunch of oddly positive press. I mean, it was well done and certainly better than a ton of shark movies I've seen but "best since JAWS"...? I dunno about that.
Mad Heidi (2022)
Another delightful bit of madness from a producer of the Iron Sky films. Rented it for a couple of bucks.
Took advantage of a cheap (relatively speaking) deal for Paramount+/Showtime for a year and so finally got to check off a couple of newer movies on my list:
ISS (2024)
After war breaks out on Earth, the American and Russian crews on board the International Space Station receive orders to take over the station "by any means necessary."
Talk To Me (2023)
Australian young adults play a party game that involves letting themselves get possessed by the dead. Works out about as well as you'd expect.
Also started watching Yellowjackets on Showtime. Remind me never to share a plane with a soccer team.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) Rare example of a really good remake, thanks in no small part to a really good cast. Developed a major crush on Brooke Adams.

Night of the Creeps (1986)
The Untamed (2016)
This was a strange one, kind of the baby cousin of the 1981 film Possession.
Currently on Tubi.
Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (1972)
Jennifer's Body (2009)
The House of Seven Corpses (1974)
Grave of the Vampire (1972)

IMAX Space Station 3D (2002)
After watching ISS I had a hankering to watch something about the real thing.
Abigail (2024)
One for the short list of vampire movies I enjoy. Fun stuff.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024)
The Ghostbusters get back in the New York Groove as the original and new incarnations team up.
Trigger Point (2024)
Jessica Alba gets back into butt-kicking mode on Netflix.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024)
The latest 'Monsterverse' movie with Kong and Big G teaming up against a new threat from the Hollow Earth.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)
Anya Taylor-Joy as a young Charlize Theron coming of age in the Wasteland
Atlas (2024)
Jennifer Lopez's latest Netflix effort, a sci-fi film that has her piloting a mech against Simu Liu and his evil AI cohorts.
Bloodthirsty (2021)
A young songstress teams up with a mysterious producer for her second album, while dealing with hallucinations of turning into a werewolf. Or, are they hallucinations? Free on Tubi, and also on Amazon's Freevee and some other stuff.
Thanksgiving (2023)
I know, 'tis not the season but I had a chance to watch it and nothing else was catching my eye. Fun little gory holiday slasher from Eli Roth.
JAWS (1975)
Given that Saturday was the anniversary of young Alex Kintner's death, I watched this in memory of both his character and of Susan Backlinie, who passed back in May of this year.

Horror Express (1972)
Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing (and Telly Savalas!) in this train-bound story.
Return of the Living Dead (1985)
The classic 4th of July movie.
Blackout (2024)
New werewolf movie from Larry Fessenden and a fairly cheap rental. A little slow but not a total loss.

Had to move, and then as soon as that hassle was largely over, we started overtime. So not much movie-watching going on but I'm still haunting the halls...
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024)
The latest of the current crop of Apes movies.
The Adventures of Jane (1949)
Based on a UK comic strip about Jane, who gets into all manner of scrapes and usually ends up in just her underwear by the end of things.
The Raid 2 (2014)
Supercop Rama goes undercover in a crime syndicate and engages in more of the best martial arts fights I've ever seen. Great stuff.
World War Z (2013)
Picked up the 3D Blu-ray finally. Liked it better this time. Don't know if that was because of the 3D or because I haven't been overloaded on zombie stuff lately like I was when it came out.
Panther Girl of the Kongo (1955)
Another old pulpy classic. One of the last Republic serials.
Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)
More superhero stuff, apparently bringing the decidedly not family-friendly character officially into the MCU.

Tornado season strikes again.
ALIEN: Romulus (2024)
The ALIENs get back to basics.
Horror in the High Desert 3: Firewatch (2024)
The found-footage series continues.
Maxxxine (2024)
The conclusion of the Ti West trilogy, set in 1985 LA during the time of the Richard Ramirez murders.
The Beast Within (2024)
New werewolf movie with Kit Harrington. More of a family drama, really, with next to no werewolf scenes.
Late Night With the Devil (2024)
Jack Delroy's infamous Halloween, 1977, late night talk show episode. Really liked this one.
