I had managed to scrub most of the plot out of my head in the years since watching this film. It wasn't that bad! At least it was a good laugh which is more than can be said of DarkWolf!

Howling 2 nearly turned me off werewolf films, and for that it's at the bottom of my list of worst films.
If I watched it today, I'd probably laugh at it. But I saw it way back when it first came out, and . . . *sniffle* . . . it was so bad . . .

I gotta agree. I didnt laugh a single time. I almost cried tho :_( Howling 3 on the other hand was really laughable. So that why i say thats a good sequel

I used to have a full set of howling VHS but had to sell them when I ran into money problems. I really should see about restoring them to my collection. Wish they'd bring out a box set of them. I did pick up the special edition of the Howling film though (or was it the 25th anniversary addition - anyway something like that).

You know. Thinking about it. The Howling was probably the first time I'd ever seen a sticker or badge. - Odd what you think about to try to avoid doing work

I bought it for 20 kr wich is less than two british pounds. I got the fourth and sixth parts for the same price. Tats what got me into werewolf movies together with the wolfman

How's this for ironic? I buy Howling 3 and then discover it's being shown shortly on Zone Horror!
For those of you that can access Zone Horror and have not yet seen Howling 3 it's on on Thursday 9th August at 00.50am (UK).

Trust me. Its a movie you wanna be able to see many times Really need to actually watch it. I usually stcik a movie on on a night after i get into bed. It's a habit i developed at Uni and haven't been able to shake off but just recently i've been that knackered i've been falling straight to sleep so i've been sticking things like Family Guy on instead. I'll give it a go tonight and hope those nun type things don't give me nightmares!!!!!

MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS...........................
Well i watched Howling 3 last night. I wasn't terribly impressed but it was still better than Howling 2! It was a weird arse story about a pack of marsupial werewolves leaving in the outback. One young woman escapes to Sidney where she is given a job by a young man, Danny, working on a horror movie and they fall in love, ah! Danny is obviously a guy who digs hairy women as he is not put off by her extremely hairly stomach or her pouch!
There's a great scene where Danny takes her to the cinema to watch a really bad werewolf movie, i laughed my ass off!
So now all i need to see are Howlings 5 & 7. They havn't made a number 8 yet have they?

Nu uh, Howling VIII would actually be one of the signs of the Apocalypse. I'm pretty sure it says so in the bible.
