5: the werewolf they see on a theatre in the howling 3, its hillarious www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPllTOtnZloThis transformation makes me nauseous. That, and the one from Howling 4 where the guy melts first. As for my Top 5... 1. Underworld Evolution 2. Bad Moon 3. Cursed 4. Werewolf (TV) 5. Dog Soldiers I like bipeds. I'd like to see tails, too, but they might look kind of pointless in a movie.

Awesomest werewolves:
The Howling Dog Soldiers Underworld Evolution Bad Moon Van Helsing, I guess (dreadful movie tho)
I agree with Dedwyre, bipedal wolf-faced werewolves are the best!

I much prefer the wolf faced werewolves but then i've said this many many times!!! I loved the design for William in Underworld: Evolution and the werewolves in dog soldiers....brilliant! The werewolf that Van Hesling transformed into at the ned of the movie was ace, although i'm not a fan of CGI werewolves as a rule.

I totally agree. William Corvinus was probably the best movie werewolf i've seen, closely followed by the Dog Soldiers. I'm no fan of CGI either (horrible memories of DarkWolf and those monkey-freaks from American Werewolf in Paris) so was very surprised when Van Helsing did it well. As with most CGI tho, it didn't look at any time like it was actually there. Respect to the Underworld movies for having actual werewolf costumes.

I agree too, I much prefer the wolfheaded biped type.
1 William Corvinus - underworld evolution 2 howling (probably cause it was the first of that look I saw as a kid) 3 dog soliders 4 Bad Moon 5 Van Helsing (the 3rd one and the 1st one - thought the 2nd one looked a bit silly)

1. Dog Soldiers 2. The 'Ginger Snaps' saga 3. AWWIL 4. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 5. Werewolf the TV Series. Oh, right. Werewolf MOVIE designs. Umm ... I'll go for the Wolf Man, then.

You didn't see a lot of the wolf in the first one ... I think they retained the same basic design throughout the series, though. They probably were best in the third one as there were more of them.

Well ive only seen screenshots from the other two but the wolves in them definately has alot more hair and i mean ALOT! The one in the first movie was almost completely bald. So sure, they probably had the same design... But with hair.

I always assumed the lack of hair on Ginger in the first movie was more due to her not completing her transformation fully before she was killed. And, the fully furred ones in the prequal was simply due to them having completed their transformations fully.
I guessed that the fur took 1 or 2 weeks to grow out fully once in wolf form.
