From what I remember Ginger did have some hair in the first one, but the initial werewolf who bit her didn't. But then, we didn't see much of that one anyway.

true, but how long was the werewolf who bit her transformed for? it doesn't say specifically, which was why I thought the growing of the fur takes a while.

Heehee, this is true. Hairless werewolves do tend to look a bit like were-rats or something. I thought Ginger looked just about wolfish enough, but the later werewolves were definitely better. Yes, definitely could have used more hair. You can see her wolf-teets!

I liked the designs in the third one best.

I also assumed that hair-growth was going to come later in Ginger's transformation. It was a slow process after all. The one at the beginning that got smooshed by the truck definately had hair.

slow process at first yes. but the mayority of the transformation happened in a really short instant in that truck if i remember right.

I also remember the growth spurts tended to happen with some external influence, like when bridget was putting the silver ring into her navel.
I'm still convinced that if Ginger hadn't been killed, she'd have eventually grown hair to match those in the 3rd film.

1. American Werewolf in London (the original hell hound with one evil face and huge teeth) 2. Dog Soldiers (bipeds but properly wolf looking) 3. Ginger Snaps 2 (similar to the American Werewolf) 4. Curse of the Werewolf (Oliver Reed was furry, grey and scary) 5. The Howling (always reminded me of giant bears with big ears, but still cool)
Personally, I don't mind if my werewolves are real wolves, bipeds, quads or wolfmen - as long as they look good.

I'm guessing these last two posters agreed with darkwolfavenged as to the top 5 films.
