Mulcahy did "Razorback" before "Highlander." Low budget horror about a man-eating pig. (not as silly as it sounds - you really don't want to run into a wild boar)

Was "Razorback" a theatrical release?

Far as I know. It's not like the 'direct to video' market was big (or existant?) in the early 80s.

I really hope the wolf design isn't too similar to the original. I own and love the original, yes, but the hairy-faced man look has never worked for me outside of that film. If it's a werewolf, I want to be able to tell it's a wolf, not a man with a comb-over for a face.

I hope it "resembles it", but I won't and can't expect it to be the exact wolf-man from the picture, which was more like a cavia...

Was "Razorback" a theatrical release? Saw Razorback when i was quite young. That scene of it just ploughing through the house and taking that baby freaked me out completely! So not starting till Nov 2008 eh? As if it wasn't far enough in the future to start with Just hope it doesn't turn into another Dog Soliders 2!

what is it with dog soldiers 2? I heard it had been put on hold whilst the guy that played Cooper finished filming the second series of Rome but i've heard nothing since. Fingers crossed for some positive news on it soon!

Ganked from Dark Horizons: www.darkhori zons.com/ news07/070416f. php Hopkins Barks At The "Wolfman" By Garth Franklin Monday April 16th 2007 7:25am Anthony Hopkins has revealed that he may well be playiing the father of Benecio Del Toro in Universal's upcoming redux of "The Wolfman". He tells Rotten Tomatoes - "There's also a chance I may play the Wolfman in London in a movie with Benicio Del Toro...He said he just wants to make sure that the deal is all in but I play the Wolfman's father in Paris. A wonderful part." He adds that his agent has the script and is very keen for him to play the role, although he hasn't yet read the script for himself. The Wolfman is a remake of the 1941 classic The Wolf Man starring Claude Rains and Bela Lugosi. It tells the story of a man who is bitten by a werewolf and turns into one himself.

Excellent! Love Hopkins. I really liked Claude Rains in the origional, and I really want to see more of his films, especially after seeing "Casablanca". I think Hopkins will really help raise the quality of this film, no matter how it turns up.

It's gonna be one of those movies you can't judge till it comes out.
But i have to say i'm having no trouble imagining Benecio Del Toro in the lead role. I think he'll be quite good.
