Screen Rant reports that there will indeed be a sequel, Underworld 4.

Oh well, you know everyone on this site is hoping for a werewolf-centric storyline. Time will tell.

Not sure where they'll take the 4th film.

I suppose they could do an earlier prequal about the actual disease and the first transformations of the Corvenus brothers. Though I doubt they will.

Not much of a point setting it somewhere between film 3 and film 2 as there's not really any big gaps that need filling in that timeline.

Could be a sequal I suppose, though who they'd bring in as the main villian after all the ones they've killed I've no idea.

they could be making one about that lady that gets killed when the lycans attack the train. wasnt she an elder like victor?

Yup, she was one of the 3 elder vamps, along with Victor and Marcus.

From the flash back in the 2nd film, I think she's a commander of victor's army or some such, unless I'm mixing up characters.

Was interesting that the didn't put the character in the 3rd film.

You mean Amelia? Yeah i was thinking that, did they mention Marcus in the 3rd one? perhaps we are supposed to believe they are all spread about ruling other areas?

So I'm guessing they'd already started leap frogging each other for control of the covern.

Though if they have, it seems a bit early for to have started that idea - than again I'm not entirely sure on the year that the 3rd film is set, in relation to the capturing of William in the 2nd film's flashback.

Yeah i'm not sure either. I guess we'll just have to wait until there is more information released.

Does anyone else not find it strange that Marcus didn't attempt to free William while he had control of the covern? I know Victor had one the pieces and Lucien had the other but he could have made a deal with Lucien just like Kraven did and i'm sure he could have gotten some of the other Vampires on side. Just a thought???

maybe he did try to free him, but how could he have gotten Victor's piece when he was in his coffin?

the third movie just created so many more questions than answers for me. i hope they make a movie about Amelia i want to see what happened during her reign. i just hope they dont use guns any time soon, after watching Daybreakers i got sick of vamps with guns.

Well, Marcus would have had a few problems, as mentioned, recovering Victor's part of the key, then finding out where William was being held.

I'm sure Victor would have given orders on what to do if Marcus started looking for William when he was asleep anyway.

Also, it's possible Marcus didn't want to release William, not until he'd been infected with the Werewolf blood and mutated. that could have done more than alter him physically, it could have also made his emotions more uncontrolled, so he gave in to his need to free William where before he knew how bad that would have been so resisted his natural brotherly love to free his brother.
