Well...I'll start one in case anyone else wanders by...
Had the week off (my first real time off in around six months I guess) so I tried to watch something every day
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Haven't watched these probably since the initial DVD release. Figured I'd see if the passage of time helped me to view them more favorably.
It didn't.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) I liked this one, and it has been long enough since I've seen it that I figured it could qualify for my 'no repeat' pledge, too. And I cranked it up in 3D this time so that was nice.
Parasite (1982) Speaking of 3D, since I had my headset plugged in I checked this out. Honestly thought it was a different low-budget monster movie before I started it but being wrong was okay because I don't think I've seen it before. Not much to recommend it beyond an early Demi Moore appearance, a quick topless scene from the legendary Cheryl "Rainbeaux" Smith, and some okay effects from a crew that included the great Stan Winston. From the age where 3D movies made point of actually 'Comin' At Ya' (another 3D movie I need to pick up, I guess).
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) Had a Vudu coupon I needed to use-or-lose so I picked up this along with Ghostbusters I & II in a digital set. Pretty darn good, I thought.
The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942) The fourth classic Universal Frankenstein film, which started filming on the heels of The Wolf Man and includes a handful of that film's cast - Lon Chaney, Jr. as the Monster, along with Ralph Bellamy, Bela Lugosi, and Evelyn Ankers.
No Time to Die (2021) Picked up the latest (and last, for Daniel Craig) James Bond movie from RedBox. I still prefer the more fun, over-the-top stuff from the previous Bond eras but I liked this one well enough. And I'd absolutely pay for a spin-off with Ana de Armas as Paloma and if they wanted to team her up with Lashana Lynch's double-0 agent that would be fine, too.
The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard (2021) Caught this on HBOMax. Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson reprise their roles as, well, let's face it, Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. Violent and profane like the first one, with the added bonus of giving Salma Hayek much more to do this time around. And she's possibly even more violent and profane than they are. Pretty good cast around them, too, with Frank Grillo, Antonio Banderas, and Morgan Freeman joining in the fun.

The Nullarbor Nymph (2012)
Really low-budget Australian effort loosely based on a hoax from the 70s about a wild woman living with kangaroos in the Outback. Honestly wasn't expecting much from this except for some gratuitous nymph nudity. Got the nudity, but all from the male lead.
Free on Tubi.
The Carmilla Movie (2017)
Feature film follow-up to the Carmilla web series from 2014 which sees our heroes Laura Hollis (Elise Bauman) and Carmilla Karnstein (Natasha Negovanlis) - now fully human after the last apocalypse they stopped - living a life of leisure until Laura starts having strange visions and Carmilla begins to exhibit signs of returning to her vampiric ways. Calling in their cohorts from the series, they set out to solve the mystery. Also stars Dominique Provost-Chalkley (Waverly from Wynonna Earp) and Cara Gee (Drummer from The Expanse).
I enjoyed the series well enough, particularly Negovanlis as Carmilla, and actually backed this movie back when it was being made but oddly never actually watched my copy. Watched this on Prime.
True Grit (2010)
The more recent adaption with Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn. Hailee Steinfeld, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin also star. Pretty good, I thought.
On Netflix.
Mother/Android (2021)
Hulu sci-fi movie with Chloƫ Grace Moretz as a pregnant woman trying to reach safety after an android uprising.
Eternals (2021)
Marvel Cinematic Universe movie introducing a race of powerful immortals who have been quietly observing/influencing human history.
On Disney+.

Wolf Like Me (2022- ) Not a movie, but I just burned thru the six half-hour episodes on the Peacock streaming channel. "Gary is an emotional wreck and struggles to provide for his daughter since the death of his wife. Mary has a secret she can't bring herself to share with anyone. The universe brought these two together for a reason." Stars Josh Gad and Isla Fisher as Gary and Mary, with Ariel Donoghue as young Emma. Hope there's more on the way. Preview: youtu.be/jROlroymMgEFrom Abe Forsythe, the writer/director of Little Monsters (2019), which I also thought was pretty good. Also bought Halloween Kills on Blu-ray tho I haven't rewatched it because...well, I didn't like it. Unfortunately, I have that completist problem that says since I have all the other Halloween movies I needed to get this one too.

From IMDb: The Invisible Man's grandson uses his secret formula to spy on Nazi Germany.
Yanked out my Blu-ray set for this one. Still need to get the whole set watched eventually.

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (2022-2022)
Netflix series starring Kristen Bell. In case the title didn't make it obvious enough, it's a riff on those similarly-titled thrillers such as "The Girl on the Train." I love Kristen Bell so it's no surprise I really dug this and hope there's a second season.
The Deep House (2021)
The usual found-footage thing about some urban explorers ending up in a haunted house that won't let them leave but with a twist - the house is at the bottom of a man-made lake. Being all underwater gave it a different vibe, but it still followed the general formula for these types of films.
I watched on Paramount+ but it looks like it's also on Hulu and epix.
The Hunting (2021)
Low-budget Ohio shot werewolf movie. Decent effort with some nice cinematography. Ohio has pretty some countryside. Has some odd editing choices which actually pay off in the end so that was cool. Practical werewolf costume which was okay but wisely not overused. Go into it expecting a small movie shot by locals and I think you'll be okay with it.
Reacher (2022- )
Amazon Prime series based on the Lee Child books. I'm about halfway thru. I liked the Tom Cruise movies well enough but I've never read the books. The main complaints I heard from book fans about Cruise's films (aside from the ones that just don't like Cruise period) are that he's an average-sized guy and Reacher is explicitly and constantly being referred to as huge in the books - a six-foot-five walking block of muscle.
They fixed that problem in the series, casting former Smallville Aquaman Alan Ritchson in the title role. As far as I'm concerned tho, the series is being stolen by Willa Fitzgerald as Deputy Roscoe (that's her first name) - half Reacher's size and pretty much the only one in the show that isn't intimidated by him or anything else it seems.

Saw this one back in late December, along with Antlers. Interesting concept, but the film was quite generic and predictable.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
Picked this up from RedBox yesterday. Nice to see a Resident Evil movie that really looks like Resident Evil, but overall it was pretty "meh."
Sunburn (1979)
Farrah Fawcett's second movie after leaving Charlie's Angels (her last where she was still Farrah Fawcett-Majors). Farrah was my first love and I can't believe I missed this DVD release - from MGM's manufactured-on-demand "Limited Edition Collection" when it came out but I found a reasonably-priced unopened copy on ebay so, of course, I snatched it up.
Charles Grodin plays an insurance investigator headed down to Acapulco because of a five-million-dollar claim. He hires a model (Farrah, naturally) to pose as his wife as part of his cover. Not surprisingly, they start to have feelings for each other and the case gets bigger and more dangerous than they expect. With a bunch of other 70's names in the cast including Art Carney, Joan Collins, John Hillerman, William Daniels, and Keenan Wynn.
My Bloody Valentine (1981) Won't have time tomorrow night after work so I have to sneak in my holiday movie watching today. Luckily there's nothing interesting on TV tonight. Star Paul Kelman (T.J.) just passed away back on January 30.
Also finally got caught up on Cobra Kai on Netflix.
