Yeah, a hole in the ozone makes a guy think he has a fuzzy face. No, you're thinking of "An Inconvenient Truth".

Haha! I really liked that actually. Nice to see what the real president of the united states is up to.

Yeah, a hole in the ozone makes a guy think he has a fuzzy face. No, you're thinking of "An Inconvenient Truth." That was Al Gore, not Michael Moore(on).

Beware of the Moon.... heh heh well the best werewolf transformation is AWIL. Right up until he became a werewolf. Well i believe howling has the best transformation but only the initial stage when the face popping up..the werewolf does not look that solid and toned as AWIL..but i still love them both cause heyy...they r classics ..the third wud be underworld....best looking werewolf..especially in Evolution...that's the nicest one..how about the Skinwalkers...they r good too...though they still have the human features...Skinwalkers is the nicest movie so far..The Big Bad wolf is kinda cool..but talking werewolf..that's just pushing it too much...still a nice try.... AWOOOOOooooooooooooooooo........!!!!!!!

Not seen skinwalkers yet, so cannot say what I thinkn of their transformations or wolf look.
If they'd had enough money to do a little good CGI on the mouth of the werewolf in Big Bad Wolf, I think it'd have helped with feel when the werewolf talked. I though it having a sense of humour and talking was nice, they just didn't have enough money to pull it off.

Agreed. Well, maybe not CGI. If they'd taken the time to do a proper make-up job it would've helped. I can understand wanting to streamline the application process (especially since they were actually using their star for the wolf and not a stuntman) but it did hamper the effect a lot.

yup..yup..i agree with that ... Van Helsing has some memorable scenes but the only thing is its CGI..it wud have been awesome if it's the other way around...but kudos for the effort of bringin the wolf-dracula fight back on the screen...hey guys...i'll be on leave for a couple of days...hope to see u guys again when i come back...Awoooooooooo......!!!! *sounds corny ..heh..heh...what the heck... take care guys...

AWIL is of course the best transformation. The level of detail that was shown was far better than 99% of other werewolf movies. But I still love the look of the werewolves in Van Helsing! The facial expressions and the physique of the beast looked amazing! I still laugh everytime I see Dee Wallace turning into that puppy dog looking werewolf at the end of The Howling. I don't know why they made it look so cute, especially when the other transformations were excellent.

Excellent response my Bakerian disciples.
You may all now go and self flagellate while chanting "There is only one true god and Ricky B is his name!"

I prefer The Howling over AWIL.
But the latter's transformation scene still remains a watershed moment for make up/creature efx.
Also held up well decades later.
Rick Baker is the Kang, but Rob Bottin is by no means a slouch.
